Classic SCL/MCAL Contest in the making

Analy and Terra Linda played to an exciting finish last season, with the Tigers scoring the majority of their point in the
second half. Everything came down to a big defensive stand with only seconds left to give the Tigers their first win of the
2008 season.
Terra Linda enters this contest after a single win season, but returns 12 starters and a lot of experience. The Trojans
seem to lack depth which could be a problem when the game reaches the fourth quarter, but they have some solid
players in skill positions that could make the difference.
Analy graduated a lot from last seasons 5-6 team, including most of their offensive weapons. One player that returns is
Senior Chris Bostock, who should be one of the better receivers in the SCL. On the defensive side of the ball, Analy
boasts an experienced and talented core of linebackers that are capable of stopping your typical running game.
The winner of this one will begin the season undefeated. Analy will play at Piner next week against an improved
Prospector's program, and Terra Linda will travel to Arnold Field to contend with Mick O'Meara's Dragons.
